I’m bringing together many of my favorite things: death, writing, food, and building community. And I’d love it if you joined me.
What Is This?
A dive into the depths of life’s most profound topic – death – while snacking on a dish that reminds you of someone you lost. From heartfelt reflections to hilarious anecdotes, we’ll be sharing stories, exploring the beauty of life and mortality, and crafting pieces of our own narratives together.
Why You Should Come:
To explore the beauty of life and mortality from a new angle, surrounded by like-minded individuals who are eager to share their insights and experiences. To connect with others on a deeper level as you bond over shared stories, laughter, and delicious snacks. It’s an opportunity to build lasting friendships and find comfort in community. To tap into your creative side. Whether you’re a seasoned writer or new to writing, this event offers a platform to express yourself freely and fearlessly. To explore the full spectrum of human emotions. It’s a chance to laugh, cry, and everything in between, all while celebrating the richness of life’s journey.
What To Bring:
Something to write with (handwriting – no not your computer) and something to write on.
Your food. Maybe it’s your grandma’s hamburgers with gravy or your sister’s chocolate cake. Think about which foods bring memories of those you lost.
